Crimson Chain Productions, a video production company based out of Frederick County, MD, has been shooting, editing, and compositing commercials for the Maryland Ensemble Theatre since their 2004 campaign started. We're rounding out our fourth year with the MET's 2007-2008 theatre season and are still going strong!

FEATURED COMMERCIAL: RED HERRING

The latest commercial for the MET is for the show Red Herring. Shot on High Definition, then edited and composited completely in-house, this commercial spot is also being broadcast on Frederick County's own Cable Channel 10.

THE 2007-2008 MET SEASON OF COMMERCIALS

The Maryland Ensemble Theatre's 2007-2008 season of commercials are shot entirely on High Definition cameras. High Definition (called HD for short) brings the value of production up to a level equivalent with many national television spots.

Director and Cinematographer, Adam Frey, has this to say about the season, "It is often a challenge to shoot a theatre commercial that clearly captures the proper mood of the play, without turning it into a somewhat bland-ish message. Luckily, the MET's 2007-2008 theatre season has been wonderful, to say the least, and there have been lots of fun and exciting shows and many out-standing performances, which have lent a big hand in getting the right feel and creating the proper tone."
