As we said before, Crimson Chain Productions does high quality television & film production, as well as audio (for internet & radio broadcasting). We produce commercial spots, promotional advertising & marketing videos, industrial & corporate videos, real estate videos, music videos, features, & the occasional short film. We can perform all parts of the production in-house, including writing, directing, editing, and animation. We work very well with others, so if you have someone in mind to do a certain part of the production, we are more than happy to work with them.

WHAT DOES IT COST?

The cost of production is relative to your budget, so it can be as expensive or inexpensive as you want. If your budget requires high end broadcast work, an extensive time-lapse, or film work, we can produce to your needs. Need a smaller budget spot? We have a decently sized library of stock footage in film, HD and SD that can aid in lowering the potential budget. Since we specialize in television advertising, you can rest assured that you will get the best bang for your buck. Don't know where to start? We can also create an entire campaign for you, if necessary, since we also do print media, including newspapers, magazines, and even business cards that can best match your advertising campaign strategy. Your budget is the ultimate deciding factor.

GREEN SCREEN STUDIO

Did we mention that we have a studio set up strictly for chroma keying? Our Rosco Chroma Key Green painted studio bay, at 27' deep, 18' wide and 16' tall, is large enough for almost any major production work that needs the use of chroma keying technology. Our Green Screen Studio, located one hour from Washington DC, comes complete with painted walls and floors, and can be leased on an hourly schedule, if needed. The walls even have preset lighting for fast turn-around work (no worrying about getting the screen lit properly, its already been done, so you can put all your focus into lighting the talent). Plus we have a bonus: a second equally large bay for the production crew to use. The entire studio totals over 900 square feet of usable space to place the camera, cast, and crew!

FORMATS

We capture on both Film and High Definition Digital Video (and can easily switch over to Standard Definition Video, aka regular TV, if needed), but we convert everything over and edit digitally. This means no "generation loss" as the older analogue formats would have. We work with many different post-production digital formats, including (but not limited to) Digital HD formats, DigiBeta, DVCAM, DVD, and HD-DVD. If you have analogue video footage that you need in your commercial spot, we can have that digitized and added in as well (BetaSP, VHS, etc.).

Yes, we are the people behind CHAINSAWLINUX, an open source, fully packaged Operating System and NLE suite. CHAINSAWLINUX is a Linux distribution designed solely for video editing, CGI, & 3D animation.
